Healthy flapjacks are great when it comes to having these as workout fuel. They are sweet and filling. They are made from oats and oats come loaded with important vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. They are also a good source of beta-glucan, this is a type of soluble fibre which slows down carbohydrate absorption, preventing your blood sugar spikes which prompt your body to store fat.

Ingredients and Methods below;
250g rolled oats
120g low fat spread (we used clover light)
2 tbsp honey
70g brown sugar
1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
1 tbsp cranberries
1 tbsp of chopped dry apricots
1. Pre-heat the oven to 160C.
2. Melt the low fat spread.
3. Add the rest of your ingredients into the melted low fat spread.
4. Lastly, add the mixture into a lined baking tray and cook for 17 minutes.
