Overview of your 12 week plan

The 12 week development plan is designed for candidates who are preparing for the assessment centre tests. This plan will help you prepare both physically and mentally.

Week 1 Week 2 Week 3
Starting your plan
In week 1 you will familiarise yourself with the sessions and start the journey towards completing your plan. The focus this week is on assessing your personal fitness level.
Adapting to the plan
During week 2, you will continue to learn how to optimise your plan and place a particular emphasis on nutrition.
Building on a good start
In week 3 you should be up and running and into your stride with this plan. You've assessed your fitness, learnt about nutrition, and are now ready to train.
Week 4 Week 5 Week 6
Keep building
It's time to make it a routine. You should plan your week ahead now to ensure you can fit all of your tasks in.
Consistency is key!
You should be building confidence and feeling much better, you've got a mid-plan personal assessment coming up next week. Keep it going.
Mid plan assessment week
It's time to see how you're progressing by completing your personal fitness assessments again.
Week 7 Week 8 Week 9
New focus
After your personal assessment week you now know whether you're improving. Don't relax now, keep pushing towards your assessment centre date.
Onwards to the end!
5 weeks left now to complete this plan. If your assessment centre date comes before the end, don’t panic you're in great shape.
Sustain the effort
It's a long time since you started your Army Prep plan but the gains will be noticeable. Use that positive feeling to remain focused and sustain the effort.
